    Hi Nirav pandit,

yes, Golden Pass from Montreux to Lucerne is good for you, you can read about the route at http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass/gettingthere and you can buy your tickets at http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass/tickets.

Unfortunately the Gotthard Panorama Express operates just until 20 October this year. The route consists of three sections; Lucerne to Flüelen by boat, Flüelen to Göschenen by train and Göschenen to Lugano by train (further information about the route at http://www.myswissalps.com/go tthardpanoramaexpress/ gettingthere). You can still travel on this route on regular trains, learn how to do that and what is the dirreferance between regular trains and the Gotthard Panorama Express at http://www.myswissalps.com/go tthardpanoramaexpress under “Regular trains and boats versus the official Gotthard Panorama Express”.

You can find the list of the panoramic trains at http://www.myswissalps.com/ac tivities/scenictrips/t rain. (Note, there will be no Glacier Express trains running between 14.10. to 14.12.2019.)

    Hi Nirav Pandit,

    A couple of tips:

    • There will only be daylight between about 8 AM and 4:30 PM, so be sure to plan anything with scenery within that timeframe.
    • Double check the timetable for your trips and activities: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable. Some days are too full, especially the 21th. The Stanserhorn cableway does not operate late November.
    • You’ll pass Interlaken on the 22nd and go back there in the 23rd. That’s a lot of backtracking. You may want to reconsider if Jungfraujoch is a priority, or if you can visit something closer to Lucerne instead: http://www.myswissalps.com/lu cerne/activities.
