    Hi all,

we are visiting Switzerland first time. We would be in Geneva from 28th September to 1st October. I tried google search but it’s very confusing. Please guide us where to visit, as day trips from Geneva as our hotel is booked here for 4 days.

Hi JD and welcome to MySwissAlps!

There is certainly a lot to see and do in Switzerland and around Geneva. We have a list of activities in Switzerland noted here: http://www.myswissalps.com/ac tivities

and more specifically around the Geneva area noted here: http://www.myswissalps.com/so uthwestswitzerland/act ivities

We don’t know your interests or how long a day you are ok with to travel but you can use the Swiss railways timetable here to plan out trips from Geneva to the town or activity that you want to see/visit

Have you looked into a rail pass for your 4 days? If you decide to stay around the Geneva area, look at the Regional Pass – Lake Geneva: http://www.myswissalps.com/re gionalpasslakegeneva or if you want to go farther out each day, look at the Swiss Travel Pass: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass

“I very much appreciated the suggestions of where to go based on our priorities of spending time in nature and away from crowds. I also appreciated the train guidance.”
