I am arriving in Interlaken in September. 2 nights in Interlaken, 4 nights Murren, 2 nights Zurich before flying out. We want to do some walking in the Alps as well as seeing Grindelwald and Schilthorn. Is there one rail pass that is economical for this travel?

    Hi Franklin,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! An 8-day Swiss Travel Pass will certainly work, but there are other options as well. It depends on your exact travel plans (day trips). The below pages provide details about the two passes that make sense, and how to choose.

Personally I would not stay in Interlaken and Mürren as they’re so close together. It will take you have a day to change hotels. Again, the best choice here depends on your plans. Also I would stay just one night in Zurich, unless of course you have specific plans there and need time for that.
