Hello! We are a group of friends from Norway that are planning to spend two days in Switzerland in september 2015.

We will start off from Munich in Germany and drive to the Andersmatt area where we will stay the night.

The next day we are looking at how it is possible to combine several mountain passes before driving back to Munich the third and last day.

The passes we are looking into are St. Gottards Pass, Grimselpass and Furkapass: http://www.alpentourer.com/alpine_passes/gotthard_region/furka.gif

We need advice on this route.

    Thanks, Erik

    Hi Erik,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! I think the following route would make sense, and it prevents going back to Andermatt: Gotthard Pass, Nufenen Pass, Grimsel Pass, stay the night in Meiringen or Brienz, and finally either the Susten Pass or Brünig Pass before going back north. Make sure to visit at least one of the peaks while you’re there. The Brünig Pass brings you to Pilatus, Rigi and Stanserhorn. Brienzer Rothorn is closeby too. All about driving in Switzerland can be found here.
