    Hi,

We are taking Swiss Travel Pass Flex for 8 days. we dont want to miss Glacier express. How to adjust glacier express travel fun with the these constraints.

    (A) we can only make it to one which is the best choice – with a kid of 12 years. Mt Titlis, Jungfraujoch, Pilatus? How much is the fare discount with Swiss Travel Pass Flex.

( C) we have confirmed booking for Interlaken for 2 days. rest of the days can be managed.

( D) is it possible to to glacier train from Zurich start journey in the afternoon and come back by late night?

Hi hbhadra and welcome to MySwissAlps!

I’m sure your child will enjoy any of those mountain attractions. There are many activities at all 3 mountains for you and your family to enjoy. Have a read through our web pages on them here: Mt. Titlis, Mt. Pilatus and Jungfraujoch. You may want to go to the mountain that is most convenient to you on your itinerary.

It would be difficult to start and end your day in Zurich and travel the Glacier Express route. The trip from Chur to Zermatt is 5 hours one-way (and about 1.5 hours from Zurich to Chur). You could travel as far as Andermatt and then return to Zurich – but it is still a long day.

You can use the Swiss railways timetable here to help you plan your trips around Switzerland.

How many days are you in Switzerland? Zermatt is a very nice town to visit with the Matterhorn to see. It will also allow you to better enjoy the Glacier Express train if you overnight there.

It is still a long day from Interlaken. Use the timetable to plan our your travel and see what works for you. The Glacier Express is labeled as GEX on the timetable.

Two panorama trains start in Lucerne: The Golden Pass (which you can also start in Interlaken and ends in Montreux) and the Gotthard Panorama Express (which ends in Lugano).
