Hello all,

I am planning to travel with my husband from paris to Switzerland for 2 days.
We have planned to visit Jungfraujoch.
Below is the iternary we have planned, not sure if it is correct..
Paris to basel sbb
Basel sbb to Grindelwald

We are planning to stay in Grindelwald, and from there buy tickets for Jungfraujoch from online site.

Could you please let me know if we should buy swiss travel pass?
Would swiss travel pass cover our train travel from basel sbb to Grindelwald?
Or should i buy individual ticket as we will jusy be visiting Jungfrau?

Hi, thank yiu for replying. Yes we will be coming back to Paris.
Also would it be good idea to stay in Grindelwald ? Are there any ither activities places we could do or visit?

Grindelwald is for sure a nice choice to stay in, especially for the rather short stay. See some alternative villages below and find nice things to do in the “What to do” tab of each location:

Thanx fir your reply. Could you please let me know.. if i buy swiss half prise pass then when and how should i buy point to point tickets?? Can i buy them in advance from online sites using the pass for getting discount..

Yes, you can buy the discounted ticket for Swiss Half Fare Card holders online using below link or alternatively at the train station or ticketing machine before boarding the train.
