Hello Marko89, welcome to MySwissAlps!
No, I don’t recommend hiking up to Schilthorn in April, and I don’t think it’s even possible.
There is a trail to the top from the mid-station Birg. It’s a challenging steep ascent of at least 1,5 hours, and the path is likely to be covered by snow, and quite possibly closed for that reason. You’ll also have to add another challenging climb from Mürren to Birg, as Birg too can’t be reached by cable car during the maintenance closure (https://www.myswissalps.com/schilthorn/gettingthere).
Trails at lower altitude are a better choice in April. Examples are Grütschalp-Mürren (https://www.myswissalps.com/hiking/gruetschalp-muerren) and the Lauterbrunnen valley hike (http://www.myswissalps.com/hiking/lauterbrunnen-stechelberg). Please see https://www.myswissalps.com/jungfrauregion/activities and schilthorn.ch/35/en/Hiking for more options.

Hi Marko89,
Many low-altitude trails are fine in April. I don’t know where you’ll be staying and in which area(s) you plan to hike. You’ll find all of our personal suggestions here: http://www.myswissalps.com/hiking. You can filter on region, duration, difficulty, et cetera: http://www.myswissalps.com/hiking.
Another good source is http://www.schweizmobil.ch/en/hiking-in-switzerland.html.
I hope that helps you find some good alternatives!
