we need to get from Geneva airport to Leuk railway station
hi Arno we have been on this and it then sends us to different pages and we the can not find price and how to book is it easier to get at the airport or on the page
Hi Harry,
A ticket is CHF 58 per person one way. You can get the ticket at the rail station of the airport too. Advanced booking is not required. You will get 50% off if you have a Swiss Half Fare Card, which may come in handy for other trips during your stay.
Hi Arno thanks for the info can you advised if you think hiring a car would work out cheaper and what the price of fuel is please
Hello Harry,
What’s cheaper depends on your exact travel plans: on top of rental fees, insurance and fuel there may be costs for parking and car trains. In general public transport is an excellent way to see Switzerland, and eco friendly too. A car could be more convenient if you plan to visit many remote locations which are not easily accessible by public transport. Fuel prices are currently around CHF 1.70/1.80 per liter. More about traveling in Switzerland can be found here.
Kind regards,
Annika
