Hello. My boyfriend and I are traveling to Swiss in July. We arrive in Zurich June 30th and are spending 1 night before traveling to Lucerne July 1st. We will spend 4 nights there. We intend to take a day trip to Interlakin. We will then travel to Salzburg on July 5th. Please advise me on the best rail pass to purchase. Thank you :)

How to choose is explained on the below page. Basically you first need to know what exactly you intend to do (including cable cars, boat trips, etc.). Various suggestions can be found here on the website. Only then you can choose the pass that works out the cheapest. If you don't know such details until you're there, then a Swiss Pass is always a convenient option.
