Lakefront hotel recommendations - Interlaken area

I'm looking for a lakefront hotel/apartment accommodation in Breinz - Interlaken - Thun area closer to the train station as I'll be leveraging Swisspass to move around. Would you have any specific recommendations with good lake/mountain views and more accessible to use public transportation?

Do swiss hotels typically provide a pick-up/drop-off service to nearby train stations, or are you on your own?

I can recommend Grandhotel Giessbach, you'll get a free ticket that gives you unlimited steam boat ride to commute between lake Brienz and the hotel's own jetty. They have shuttle service towards and back from Brienz train station.
