    Hello!

shoukd we spend 2 nights in Lucerne and go see mount titlis or should we add 1 extra day to Zermatt and 1 extra day to Bernese Oberland area? (We are planning to stay 2 nights in Zermatt and 5 nights in Wengen, then 2 nights Lucern, vs. 3 nights in Zermatt and 6 nights in Wengen, and skip mt titlis. Well be having our 2 yeArs old with us. Thank you!

    Hi Babepy

Sounds like a very nice trip you are planning! If this is your only trip to Switzerland and you’re not likely to come back, then I would say you should incorporate Lucerne into your itinerary for sure.

However there are plenty of mountain tops that can be done from Wengen as well so staying there longer would also be an advantage.

Below some links to help you in your decision:

    Perhaps others have more suggestions.

    Good luck with your planning!

    Maria.

We might stop by Lucerne on our way to Zurich for like a couple hours and just skip mt titlis since we’ll be seeing Matterhorn and Jungfraujoch… does that sound good?

    Hi again

To me that sounds good since you’ll be seeing the top two mountain views in Switzerland and then you can spend more time in Lucerne and on the lake.

You can still do Pilatus, Titlis or Rigi from Lucerne if you choose to: http://www.myswissalps.com/lu cerne/activities

or choose to spend more time on the lake: http://www.myswissalps.com/bo atlakelucerne

It’s really down to your personal preference!

    Maria.
