    Hi,

I will be in Switzerland in 1st week of August which I believe is high peak season. On my last day i.e. 8th August I have few hours between my train to Basel and then my flight to home. I am planning to keep my luggage in locker @ Basel station and then go around Basel. I would need the large locker. Is there a possibility that due to high peak season the large locker may be not available ? If so is there a way to pre-book the locker ? Are there any other alternate options to store luggage near Basel station ?

    Thanks

    Hi chintan92.

No, you can’t pre-book luggage lockers unfortunately. If they happen to be all full there is a left-luggage office you could use as well.

Read more about luggage here (and see the links to SBB Rail station services and opening hours) under more on other websites. https://www.myswissalp s.com/train/practical/ luggage

    Thanks Lucas

Any idea What’s the probability of lockers being not available & What are the charges for left-luggage ?

    Hi,

You’ll find locker prices through the link above. They are between 6-9chf for 24 hours. Left luggage will be a little higher than that but prices are not given.

I’ve never not found an available locker when needed but I can’t say how busy it will be when you are there. Always nice to have the luggage office back up though.
