    Hi Expert,

We will be visiting Switzerland on 23-27 Apr, 2 nights Interlaken, 2 nights Lucerne. And we plan to go to Mt. Titlis. What would be the recommended coldwear during this period? As we are travelling around Europe for 16 days and don’t want to bring the thick coldwear just for the few hours at Mt. Titlis.

    Thanks and Regards

    Juliana

    Hi ericjuliana,

Wearing multiple thinner layers will work fine, plus sun glasses, solid shoes and a hat. More information is here:

Hi Arno, thank you for the information.

Besides Lucerne, we will be staying at Interlaken West as well. We plan to visit Kleine Scheidegg, Grindelwald, Trummelbach and Staubbach Falls @ Lauterbrunnen for leisure. We are not looking into hiking/extreme sports. May I know what is the best route to visit all those villages in a day?

    Thanks again!

    Hi ericjuliana,

One option is Interlaken – Lauterbrunnen – Staubbach (on foot) – Trümmelbach (on foot) – back to Lauterbrunnen by bus – Kleine Scheidegg – Grindelwald – Interlaken. Or the other way around.
