    Hi xuefang88,

I think you’re referring to the Swiss Travel Pass (the Swiss Pass is something different and meant for Swiss residents only). The cable car to the Oeschinensee is discounted by 50%. Please review the map in our validity section and zoom in to Kandersteg.

    Enjoy your stay in Switzerland!

We’re thinking about going to Kandersteg as well and doing the toboggan ride. It looks fun, especially for those of us traveling with teenagers. 🙂 You may want to consider purchasing the Bernese Oberland Regional Pass (depending on what else you are doing in the area) as that seems to include the cable car to Oeschinensee.(doc.myswissalps.com/do cs/default-source/rail-network-maps/regionalpassberne seoberland.pdf?sfvrsn=18)

From there we are traveling on to Italy and would like to go through the Lötschberg tunnel which the maps shows to be included with the regional pass, though we will have a car and I am quite sure that the car trains are not included in the Regional Pass. I’d love to find out otherwise.

All the best in your travels.

    Hi JennyK,

The car train is indeed not included in the pass.

Thanks all for the reply, I didn’t manage to try the mountain coaster cause of the rain. 🙁
