Hi- we are 5 adults and 1 kid (6 yrs old) traveling from Paris to Wengen on 22nd. Staying in wengen till 25th- traveling to zurich on 25th for some local sightseeing and flying out from zurich on 26th. We plan to go to Jungfraujoch as well. We are trying to determine whats the cheapest way to cover train travel from Paris to wengen, jungfraujoch, local travel in switzerland, wengen to zurich travel. Should we just buy the swiss half fare card or should we buy the saver pass as well?

Nice to hear you’re coming along to Switzerland.

You have the two main options of buying a Eurail Global Pass covering some of Switzerland as well as the journey from Paris (mainly interesting if you also move in France)

OR

a regular ticket Paris – Switzerland and then a Switzerland only rail pass (either a Swiss Travel Pass, a Swiss Half Fare Card or a Jungfrau Travel Pass combined with Saver Day Passes).
