What would be the best way to get from Paris to Wengen in early Sept.
and should we just buy a location to location ticket with no rail pass
once we get to Wengen buy a Jungfraubahnen Pass for 6 days
and buy our train ticket back to Zurich airport ?
sorry if it is a repeat question
thank you

Hello tyler10! You have several options. Which one is best, should be calculated. The Swiss Card would be the most convenient solution. It provides a free trip from the border station (depending on your train connection, this will be either Basel or Geneva) to Wengen and from Wengen to Zurich Airport, plus a 50% discount on all trips you make during your stay.

The Jungfrau Railways Pass is fine if you want to stay within the Jungfrau Region and plan to use public transportation there very intensively. You could combine it with a Swiss Transfer Ticket to cover the inbound trip from the border to Wengen and from Wengen to Zurich Airport.

Then there's the 6 or 8 day Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland. It covers quite a large area, allowing you to explore more than just the Jungfrau Region. As it covers quite a large network, parts of your inbound and outbound trips will also be reduced or for free. Please find details, including a validity map, at the Regional-Pass page.
