    Hello travelers,

MySwissAlps visitors are offered a 5% discount on bus and train tickets. The total order amount must be between € 100 and 5000, resulting in a discount between €5 and 250. This promotion expires 31 August 2021, but you can buy tickets for any date. This allows you to save on regular tickets, but also on Super savertickets and Saver Day Passes.

This is how to get your discount:

    1. Read the terms for Omio vouchers: https://www.omio.com/coupon
    2. Send an e-mail to our contact e-mail address: http://www.myswissalps.com/contact/email/addresses. Please use “Request for 5% voucher code” as the e-mail title. This helps us to reply quickly.
    3. Wait for our reply with your personal voucher code. Check your spam folder if you didn’t get a reply within 24 hours.
    4. Go to https://www.omio.com/trains/switzerland.
    5. In the top of the search box to find trains and buses, click “1 Adult, No discount card”. Add travelers as needed. If there are travelers with a Swiss Half Fare Card, make sure to select “CH – HalbtaxAbo (without Railplus)”.
    6. Search for your tickets.
    7. In the last step before payment, enter the voucher code in the box “Enter voucher code”.

    Please note:

    • This promotion is for new Omio customers only.
    • Valid for all ground transport tickets (train and bus) in any country. This includes Super savertickets and Saver Day Passes in Switzerland (search for your route and these options will be shown if available).
    • Valid for any travel date.
    • Omio does not sell train passes.
    • Your voucher code is personal and will only work once.
    • Your voucher code expires after 31 July 2021.
    • Swiss tickets can be purchased for up to 5 people at once. This is not a voucher limit but applies in general.
  • Effortlessly learn from the questions and answers in the forum. Receive a daily e-mail with new discussions.

Can one take advantage of the discount multiple times? I understand a new code would be required for a second purchase, as each code is only valid one time. So in other words, can one submit more than one request for a voucher code?

    Hi SteelyD,

No, unfortunately not, it’s for new Omio customers only, and you wouldn’t be new the second time 🙂

A word around: if you travel with a group, it is possible that you split the purchase of your tickets across two or more people, who each request a voucher code.

    Hi Arno,

great initiative! Is this valid for the Berner Oberland pass as well or for the Swiss Half fare card?

    Thanks

    Hi SwissMiss72,

unfortunately, Omnio does not sell any train passes, so the promo is valid only for tickets (Super savertickets and Saver Day Passes included). But if you’ll have a Swiss Half Fare Card, you can buy your tickets in advance with this promotion.

It is a different promotion but at the moment there is also a Swiss Travel Pass promo (25% discount), you’ll find the details here: http://www.myswissalps.com/forum/topic/swiss-travel-pass-25-off-for-trips-in-20212022
