Hi All,

My wife and I have planned a trip to Switzerland from Copenhagen for 5 days in the month of August this year.

I have written down the itinerary below. It will be of great help if the forum members can review and suggest changes if any. Many Thanks 🙂

Day 1: Take the morning flight from Copenhagen to Zurich. Store the luggage at the Zurich airport & head to the Rhine falls. Then come back to the airport, collect luggage and reach Luzern in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in Luzern. (Luzern sightseeing if time permits)

Day 2: Excursion to Engleberg & Mt.Titlis. Then back to Luzern hotel for overnight stay. (Luzern sightseeing if time permits)

Day 3: Take the train to Interlaken (Golden Pass line). Store the luggage in Interlaken station and visit St.Beatus Caves & Thun. Then reach Grindelwald in the evening for the overnight stay.

Day 4: Excursions to Lauterbrunnen & Jungfrau. Back to Grindelwald for the overnight stay.

Day 5: Take the train in the morning to Geneva (Golden Pass line) and fly back to Copenhagen in the night.

The flight to Copenhagen will be at night. So I will have some 3-4 hours for exploring Geneve.

Looks like a perfectly good itinerary there! You can use the Swiss railways timetable to plan out the trips you take each day.

Have you looked at rail passes for your trip as well?

I have not looked at the rail passes yet, as I first wanted to finalize the flights and the hotels. So happy to hear that the itinerary is perfect! Thanks for the link to rail passes.
