Hello – looking for thoughts/opinions on which of these 3 mountains (Rigi, Pilatus or Titlis) would be best for a family of 5 (3 teens aged 19,19, 17) in mid-June. Love the outdoors and adventures, trying to avoid touristy crowds – looking for half day trip. Thanks!

    Hi Lrodia,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! All 3 mountains are wonderful and all are different. I can even add a 4th option. Did you already read our pages about them? Here they are:

As for avoiding the crowds: Mount Rigi offers many easy and less easy hiking trails, so once you are up there you can avoid the actual crowds. The other mountains offer a more adventurous ride up there.

They would love the toboggan ride at Pilatus on the way back down. There is also a rope park there that teens would like.
