Our group has tickets for the Golden Pass on Sep 30, 2019 departing Luzern at 9:06. Our routing is Luzern – Interlaken Ost – Spiez – Zweisimmen – Montreux. arriving 14:13.

I have booked seats for the Zweisimmen to Montreux portion. I tried to book seats for the Interlakken to Speiz or Spiez to Zweisimmen portion but I cannot bring it up seat selection on

Does this mean there are no seats available?

Hi TheDreamer!

Seat reservations are only recommended for the Zweisimmen-Montreux segment, so not all online reservation portals offer seats for the Lucerne-Interlaken leg. If you still want to make reservations for Lucerne-Interlaken, you could try http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/reservations/price.

Only the true ‘Golden Pass’ (The MOB railway Zweisimmen – Montreux) has limited capacity, the other sections of the route are on different railways’ trains. The Luzern – Interlaken Express (ZB railway) is the Brünig Pass, and the ZB trains now have lots of seats. There is no need to reserve Interlaken – Spiez – Zweisimmen as they are full size BLS railway standard gauge trains
