Swiss Half Fare Card Purchase

    I and three others will spend four days in Grindelwald this August and plan to take trips up to Jungfrau and Schilthorn. A Swiss Half Fare Card would appear to offer considerable savings. Can this card be purchased in Grindelwald and/or Interlaken ?

    Hi Chuck,

    You can purchase a Swiss Half Fare Card in Interlaken, but I’m not sure about Grindelwald. But it’s cheaper to simply buy it online: just € 98 ($ 111) per person versus CHF 120 ($ 126) if purchased in Switzerland. See here for all the purchase options please (check the Discounts section of that page too for further savings).

    Alternatively you could look into the Jungfrau Railways Pass.
