    Hi,

We are planning to visit Switzerland this coming March.

We will arrive at interlaken on 23/3/18 and leaving to Milan on 26/3/18.

We plan to travel interlaken area, the valley such as murren, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Wengen.

We also want to go to the mountain region. May i know between Jungfraujoch and Zermatt, which is better during March?

Above are roughly the places we intend to travel.

Is it worth getting the swiss travel pass?

    Thank you for the advice.

Hi Leerave and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Rail passes for your itinerary in March would be limited to the Swiss Travel Pass, The Swiss Half Fare Card or the Jungfrau Sledging and Hiking Pass.

You’ll have to compare rail pass costs and ticket prices to know for sure which of the 3 is best for your itinerary (and you do need to plan out all your trips). Our web page on how to choose the best rail pass will help you do the math. 🙂

You’re question about Zermatt and Jungfraujoch is comparing a mountain to a town so it is a little hard ;).
If you are basing yourself in the Lauterbrunnen Valley for the trip and have little to no interest in seeing the Matterhorn I wouldn’t bother with the long trip to Zermatt.
