As we are plan in First week of May 2020 (1st to 12May) We are 7 Day in Lauterbrunnen and 2 Day Zermatt and 2 Day in Zurich (Coming Zurich via Tirano Bernina exps and to Chur and Chur to Zurich) 2 day in Geneva (one day in Chamonix) and One day for Geneva and Montreux. Kindly suggest around lauterbrunnen except Jungrouch , Lucern and Lake Blausee and Lake Thun and Schilthorn , Grindelwald (which is already in our itinerary) and Mount Rigi . Any place which is not explore much but must seen (new explore) . Is it worth to visit Gstaad or Gruyers ?

Kindly suggest around Zermatt except Matterhorn and Gornergrat Rail as it is in our list.

how’s the weather in May first week? As 4 year old Baby with us. Types of Cloth Require for her.

If you want to see something other than mountains and lakes, from Lauterbrunnen you can easily make excursions to Bern (1hr 20 min) or Fribourg (2 hrs). Travel a little further on the train and you will be in Gruyeres, a village famous for its cheese and medieval castle. These places are definitely worth a visit if you have the time. I would recommend packing up enough layers including waterproof jackets, gloves, winter hats and scarves for your trips to the mountains.

As Anna points out, early May is Spring at lower altitudes, and still very much the end of Winter at high altitudes….say over 1500 to 2000 meters for an approximate figure..

Things will be very quiet in Lauterbrunnen, even if the valley floor is accessible, because Lauterbrunnen is a gateway to the higher altitude ski areas. The snow will not be good enough for skiing, but still will prevent hiking on the higher trails. So, few tourists. Many places to stay will be closed. If you have booked your 7 days…that is great.
