Hi Diganta, and welcome to MySwissAlps!
>> Hello, We are a family of 5 members and we are planning to visit Switzerland.
It would be helpful if you could provide more details about the members of your family, e.g. how many of them are children, and what are their ages.
>> Can you tell me, which place in switzerland will be the best to stay to see the whole Switzerland?
There is no single place that you can stay and see the whole of Switzerland, and how much you can see depends on how much time you will be spending there of course. It would be helpful if you could tell us the dates of your trip, as some transport options and activities in Switzerland are seasonal.
If you are staying for up to 4 nights, I would recommend staying in Luzern. For 5-6 nights, I would recommend splitting your time between Luzern and the Jungfrau Region (Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Wengen, Mürren or Interlaken). Interlaken is the least scenic option, but is a good transport hub.
For more than 6 nights there are many other options, depending on your interests.
If you are hoping to travel on any of the panoramic trains, such as the Glacier Express, the Golden Pass route, the Gotthard Panorama Express or the Bernina Express, they are in different parts of the country, and you should take this into account when planning where to stay.
Here is a map of the panoramic routes. The Wilhelm Tell Express is now called the Gotthard Panorama Express:

It would be helpful if you mention the composition of your family, what type of accommodation you would prefer, how long you would be staying, and at what time of the year you will be in Switzerland.

We are planning to be in Switzerland from 3rd of August to 10’th of August. So Is it good if we stay at lucern for 4 nights and then move to Zurich for the rest of the days. What places do you recommend to see in these 7 days?

So is that 7 days? I would skip Zürich, and spend 3-4 days in Luzern, and the rest in the Jungfrau Region, as I suggested in my first post.

That’s for you to decide 🙂

I also would recommend Alpenrose’s plan. For hotel suggestions, click on his Lucerne link and the Jungfrau region link (for town suggestions in that region) and click on the hotel tab on each web page – we provide a list of hotels we suggest for various budgets.
Are you planning to travel by train? If so you will want to look at buying a Swiss rail pass – click here for your options. The Swiss Travel Pass covers virtually all of Switzerland. If you stick with the Jungfrau Region, look at the Jungfrau Travel Pass, or if you also include Lucerne look at the Regional Pass- Bernese Oberland.
Cheers!
Lucas
