    Hi,

We are planning a short visit to Swiss during April 2016.

1)Can you please suggest is it worth to visit Mt. Titlis & Jungfraujoch during this time?

2)What could be the return train fares between “Engelburg-Titlis-Engelburg” & “Kleine Scheidegg-Jungfraujoch- Kleine Scheidegg ” ?

3)With the Swiss travel pass, do we have to take a separate ticket for journeys between “Engelburg to Titlis” & “Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch” ?

    Thanks, Pavan.

    Hi Pavan, welcome to MySwissAlps!

Yes, if skies are clear Titlis and Jungfraujoch are definitely worth a visit in April. There will still be quite some snow at the mountains tops, which is beautiful in my opinion.

Regular fares can be found by following the appropriate links at the bottom of our Titlis tickets and Jungfraujoch tickets pages.

With a Swiss Travel Pass, you indeed need an additional 50% discounted ticket between Engelberg (not Engelberg ;-)) and Titlis. As for the Jungfraujoch journey: the Swiss Travel Pass is valid up to Grindelwald or Wengen. Between Wengen/Grindelwald and the Jungfraujoch, you need an additional 25% discounted ticket. Please find details at the ticket pages I referred to and at myswissalps.com/swisst ravelpass/validity.

    Hi Annika,

Thanks for the reply. We have planned as below within the available time frame:-

    • Day1: Arrival in Lucerne by 12 noon. Head on to Mt. Titlis2-6pm.
    • Day2: Mount Jungfraujoch 8am-7pm
    • Day3: 9am Lucerne to Zurich Airport.

Could this be a workable plan?

    How about accommodating Mt. Pilatus?

    Thanks,

    Pavan.

    Hi Pavan,

Your plan looks certainly workable. There is no way to include Mount Pilatus too though, unless you have the full morning of day 3 available, before going to the airport.

Please see here for recommended hotels and here for how to obtain your pass.
