What Rail pass is best for us?

Our plan is to travel to Lucerne from Bulach (through Zurich) on the morning of Sunday 19th April. On reaching Lucerne we will take the ferry and then the cable car/cog wheel to Mt Riggi. We will stay the night in Lucerne and sightsee on Monday 20th or maybe travel out to surrounding places by train?

On Tuesday 21st we will travel by train to Grindelwald. We will travel to Jungfraujoch on Wed 22nd April. We will travel back from Grindelwald to Bulach (thru Zurich) on Thursday 23rd April.

We would appreciate any help on the most economical pass for this trip and any tips you may have. Thank you very much.

I am thinking about two options in your case:

• A Swiss Half Fare Card, providing a 50% discount on all tickets you will buy.
• A 4-day Swiss Travel Pass Flex, including free traveling on April 19, 21, 22 and 23, so no tickets required. The Rigi trip is free as well. You do need tickets for the Jungfraujoch; these will be 25% discounted.
