Hi

just came to know about the swiss tell pass and got confused between swiss travel pass and tell pass actually was planning to stay in lucerne for 3 days and 2 days in zurich but there is so much to do from lucerne so thinking of staying 1more days so please suggest the right pass as arriving in zurich airport on 26 th October and back 31october early morning flight

Hi Sharmadeepa,

If you spend 4 days in Luzern (good idea I think) then the Tell Pass -Summer would be your best bet. You can buy it for 4 days to cover Oct 26, 27, 27 and 29 – then head back to Zurich on the 30th where you can explore without the need of a rail pass that day.

The Swiss Travel Pass can also be bought for 4 days but not 5. It will cover both towns but it would only make some sense if you did at least 2 days in Zurich. You would then have to decide to use it on your first 4 days or last 4 days.
