Hi All,

This is the first time i am travelling to Swiss and i have planned my itinerary as below for 4 days trip. i am coming to Swiss from UK. We are 2 persons.

  • Day1 - Basel Airport (get down at 11:00AM) to Rhine waterfalls: -> Rhine Waterfalls to InterlakenOST
  • Day2 - InterlakenOST to Mt Titlis : -> Mt Titlis to InterlakenOST
  • Day3 - InterlakenOST to jungfraujoch -> jungfraujoch to InterlakenOST -> Interlaken to lake brienz lake trip
  • Day4 - InterlakenOST to Mt.Pilatus -> Mt.Pilatus to Basel SBB (Basel Airport)

Can you please suggest Swiss travel pass or Swiss half fare card is beneficiary for us? We need your help in if we opt for Swiss half fare card do i need to take ticket for each transfer station or can i take ticket for end to end change for any connecting train.

Could you please suggest us?

Hi Ravindra,

I would estimate that a Swiss Travel Pass is the slightly cheaper option, because you've planned quite some traveling in these 4 days. At least it will be more comfortable as you don't have to buy tickets for each trip. Whether a Swiss Half Fare Card is cheaper can be calculated. Please see here for more information:
