Hi.. I would need your expertise on my purchase of Swiss pass during my 7-days stay in Switzerland. My traveling as follows:

  • 31 Dec - Strasbourg to Zurich
  • 31 Dec 15 to 3 Jan 16 - Zurich
  • 3 Jan 16 - Zurich to Interlaken
  • 3 Jan 16 - 6 Jan - Interlaken

I am planning to go to Jungfraujoch during my stay in Interlaken.

Can you kindly advise what is the most suitable Swiss Pass to purchase to optimize the cost and savings?

Is there any promotion available for Singapore travellers?

Thank you in advance!

Regards, Yen Wee

Hi Yen Wee, thanks for posting here!

If your trips are mainly short and local, a Swiss Half Fare Card will probably be the best solution: myswissalps.com/swissh alffarecard. However, it depends on further details of your specific itinerary. The tips and tools at myswissalps.com/train/ ticketspasses/practica l/chooserailpass can help you decide.

Regular prices are listed at myswissalps.com/swissh alffarecard/price, promotions can be checked through and myswissalps.com/swissh alffarecard/promotions. Currently, there are no specific discounts for your travel dates. You can profit from the fixed low online prices offered by www.raileurope-world.com though, which is the cheapest reseller in your case.
