Is the cogwheel train from Alpnachstad to the peak of Mount Pilatus included in the price of the Winter Tell Pass? From the map it doesn’t appear that way.

    Hi Diane Flagg,

The cogwheel train from Alpnachstad to Pilatus Kulm is operational from May up to 17 November only. During the non-operational period, you can reach the Pilatus summit via the cableway in Kriens. This is free with the Winter Tell Pass.

Take note: The cableway from Kriens to the summit does not operate from 21 October to 8 November 2019. Please plan ahead.

Hope you find this information useful.

    Hi Anna,

I plan to summit Pilatus November 6. Is this date considered summer for the Tell Pass?
