We are planning our trip for the last two weeks in September and wondered if a light jacket would be enough for time up the mountains. Plan to go to Mt Titlus and Shlithorn at least. Appreciate any insights regarding the weather so we can pack accordingly. Trying to pack as light as possible since we will be traveling for 24 days in Europe

A light jacket might not be enough if it has turned autumnal during your visit. Weather forecasts in Alpine countries will give you the ‘zero degrees celcius’ altitude limit each day, so if you watch the forecast in the evening you will find out what the temperature will be at high altitude the next day.
