Winter attractions in Switzerland

In winter, the snow in the Swiss Alps is perfect for skiers and snowboarders. But there are many more things to do. Non-skiers will have a great winter vacation too.

Examples of snow activities are sledding, snowtubing, ice skating and sleigh rides. There are groomed winter hiking trails and special snowshoe trails.

Famous Swiss mountains can be visited by cable car. Winter train rides are scenic too. And Swiss cities are attractive, especially during the Christmas market season.
