How to combine Bernina Express and Interlaken?
A traveler is planning a 6-day trip to Switzerland starting May 18, coming from Paris. They want to take the Bernina Express, spend time in Interlaken for day trips to Jungfraujoch and Bern, and seek advice on the best travel route to manage their itinerary.
- Consider traveling to Interlaken first, then make your way to Tirano for the Bernina Express.
- Check the Swiss railways timetable for route planning and timing comparisons.
- You can include rides on the Glacier Express and Gotthard Panorama Express from Interlaken to Tirano for more scenic views.

Hi,
I am trying to plan a 6 day Switzerland trip in May starting May 18. We will be coming from Paris, i want to take the Bernina express and stay a few days in Intaerlaken, where i can take day trip to Junfraujoch and another to Bern. My question is, does it make more sense to come to straight to Chur from Paris and then take the Bernina Express next morning, all the way to tirano. then from Tirano to travel to Interlaken the same day? or should we come to Interlaken straight from Paris and then after our stay is over in interlaken travel to chur to take the bernina express. Our next destination is Amsterdam from switzerland.
can you please help me plan it?
Really appreciate any help/suggestions.
