We will be in Lauterbrunnen at the end of June with our two grandchildren, ages 7 and 10. We were wondering about biking the valley area. Any recommendations for where to rent bikes and any places to ride to? Is it possible to bike to Interlaken from the Lauterbrunnen valley? I am hoping that there will be a place that has bikes for children. Thank you for any help you can provide. Maureen

    Hello Maureen,

Yes that’s possible, folllow this link. You can make rides all through the Lauterbunnen valley (including to Interlaken). I’m pretty sure you can find other bike routes in Lauterbrunnen, but going up out of the valley may be hard to do.

    Enjoy!

There is a bike rental shop right in the center of Lauterbrunnen village.
