My family and I will be staying in Bern and i’ve have booked a short trip on the Glacier Express ( paid for the seat reservations) from Brig to Zermatt , arriving at Zermatt at 2010hrs on 10th Aug 2018 . As we’ve bought Swiss Travel pass, do i still need to purchase train ticket from Zermatt to Bern or can we just board the train to Bern using our Swiss travel pass?

Hi Bhsharma06 and welcome to MySwissAlps!

With the Swiss Travel Pass you can just board any train that is covered by the pass 100%.
That is the routes outlined on the PDF Map here:

That includes, as you’ll see Zermatt to Bern.

Nearly all all Brig – Zermatt trains have big windows so there was really no need to pay the extra for the Glacier Express on that short section. Bern – Zermatt is all on Swiss standard trains where STP pass is valid.
