Dec trip – Arriving in Zurich, where to go first?
A traveler is planning a trip to Switzerland from December 12th to December 19th, starting in Zurich and visiting several cities including Lucerne, Bern, and Zermatt. They are looking for advice on the best sequence to visit these towns and whether they should buy the Swiss Travel Pass for their travels.
- Start your trip in Lucerne, just a half-hour train ride from Zurich.
- To reach Jungfraujoch, take the train from either Wengen or Grindelwald.
- Consider getting the 8-day Swiss Travel Pass for convenience, as you’ll be visiting multiple cities.

Hello everyone!
I will be traveling to Switzerland from December 12th to December 19th.
And I have some questions 😬
I arrive in Zurich, next day i’m planning on going to Lucerne, then Berne, then Thun, then Interlaken, then Murren, then Grindelwald, then Wengen, then Zermatt and finally Geneve.
Is this the right way to visit these cities/towns? I mean, where do I go first if I’m starting from Zurich.
I also want to take Jungfrau train, where is best place to take it?
One more question, do you recommend me buying the Swiss travel pass?
