Worth visiting Engelberg for a view of snow capped mountains?

Short summary – read this first

Animesh is planning a 3-day trip to Engelberg in April, hoping to enjoy the stunning views of snow-capped mountains and catch the sunrise or sunset. He also mentioned a potential day trip to Luzern and is looking for advice on whether the trip is worth it.

Key takeaways:
  • For guaranteed snow views, visit Mt Titlis as it has snow all year round.
  • Engelberg has good accommodation options, and the village is easy to explore on foot or by bus.
  • Consider taking a cable car to the top of Mt Titlis for the best scenery and experience.
  • If you plan to travel between cities, look into purchasing a Swiss Travel Pass for convenient train travel.

Hi, I plan to visit Engelberg just to stay amidst snow capped mountains. Is it really worth dreaming about? Also to view sunrise or sunset amidst these views. I plan to stay for 3 days and may be 1 day i can go to Luzern and get back. This is for the month of April.

    Thanks.
