Eurail Pass vs Swiss Pass Switzerland and Italy
A traveler named Purvi is planning a trip to Switzerland with her husband and two kids from August 3rd to the 6th, starting in Zurich and visiting Interlaken before moving on to Italy. She needs advice on a rail pass that will work for Switzerland and Italy, including her journey to London.
- The Eurail Global Pass is a great option as it covers travel in Switzerland, Italy, and even includes the journey to London if you travel by train.
- For travel only within Switzerland, consider the Swiss Travel Pass which offers more excursions and mountain trips, but is limited to Switzerland.
- It’s often recommended to start in Venice, then travel to Switzerland, and finally to London for a more enjoyable and eco-friendly experience.

My family ( me, husband and 2 kids) will be in Switzerland from canada – zurich – interlaken 3rd aug until 6th morning and than moving ahead to milan – lake como, than 9,10th in venice and 10th afternoon leaving for London. For this multi country trip is there any one pass which i can use in both Switzerland and italy and also for venice to london trip? Can you please advise. Thank you.
