Hi need some advice. Will be in lucerne on October 3. Would like to take advance of swiss travel pass, and use the boat/cogwheel/cable car. We will not be in lucerne until 2 pm. Can you help us fi gure out what mode of transportation is best/if we can include all/if it is all included with the swiss pass? Also a side question, for the scenic trains do you need a reservation or can you still get on without one?

So it might be a bit tight but you can visit Pilatus from Lucerne with a 1400 start. Last trips down the mountain are around 18:00.
