    Hi Jay,

One option would be to take the Bernina Express bus to Tirano and connect to the Bernina Express train to St Moritz. In St Moritz you then board the Glacier Express to Zermatt. This journey is possible over 2 days.

FYI  We are doing the Panorama Cruise from Luzene to Lugano on a Friday. (Acqurello Swiss Hotel that is at stop on Train station tram, and short walk to waterfront).  The reason for Friday (this is a one year planned trip for16 days) is that there is a big Street Festival on Friday nights down on the water front. Then Saturday getting up and taking a cruise on the Lugano Lake and up to Mt Bree. There is a bus from there directly to the bus/train terminal where we catch a Post Bus at 3:30PM  for a ride over the mountains thru Italy and Switzerland with fabulous sites according to previous riders on here. (you must pre purchase seats on bus before hand – we have).  We arrive in St Moritz (Crystal Palace) around 7 PM. still time for dinner at Hauseers restaurant across the street.   Get up in AM and catch the 8:51 Glacier Express (there is a later one) You will miss the Bernia Express from Italy to St Moritz. It is fabulous and we did it severl years ago from Milan, Italy.

Just letting you know you have a choice simply because riding a bus from Lugano, over to ride the Bernia express, only to ride the Glacier Express for 7 hours is on the bottom of my ideas of two great days.
