Hi Everyone,
I am looking to travel to Switzerland next mid november 13th to 17th along with my mum. We have already found an AirBnb in Lauterbrunnen close to station and bus stop. Below is my itinerary and was wondering if you experts could provide me any suggestions or things to look out for, thanks!
Day 1 (16th nov): Zurich Airport to Lauterbrunnen – Check in, explore the surroundings and rest
Day 2 (17th nov): Interlaken to Lake Thun to Interlaken Boat cruise
Day 3 (18th nov): Top of Europe Jungfrau tour
Day 4 (19th nov): Glacier Helicopter Fly
Day 5 (20th nov): Explore the surroundings & chill go visit nearby free of cost places, would love some suggestions
Day 6 (21st nov): Checkout in Morning and Travel Lauterbrunnen to Chur and stay over one night to get Bernina Express in morning (booking via SBB) undecided about 1 night accomodation in Chur.
Day 7 (22nd nov):Bernina Express to Tirano. Then travel Tirano to Milan to Paris all by train.
I am still confused by which rail pass to use Swiss Half Fare Card, Saver Day Pass or Swiss Travel Pass.
Let me know your suggestions, i still feel like i am using way too many days for few little activities? Not sure, would really appreciate all your time. Thanks!

On day 2 you can also visit Thun (http://www.myswissalps.com/thun) and if you still have time and energy, I recommend Harder Kulm (http://www.myswissalps.com/harderkulm). The funicular operates until 27 November 2022.
Regarding the boat ride on Lake Thun, there will be a reduced schedule as it is almost winter time. Make sure to check the timetable in advance. You can easily combine a boat trip with a visit to the Niederhorn or the St. Beatus Caves. More tips: http://www.myswissalps.com/boatlakethun.
You can check the tickets to the Jungfraujoch here: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch/tickets. I recommend getting your mountain transport ticket just maximum 1-2 days in advance, after you checked the weather forecast. In case of bad weather you might want to reschedule your trip. Day 5: traveling for free depends on your chosen rail pass. I recommend Grindelwald (http://www.myswissalps.com/grindelwald). Also Wengen and Mürren are popular towns in the region: http://www.myswissalps.com/murren and http://www.myswissalps.com/wengen.

If you have a rail pass, like the Swiss Travel Pass (http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/price), you do not need to buy the tickets. I think you can add some more activity plans to your itinerary. You do not have to plan everything, the most important – if you are visiting the Swiss Alps – is that try to stay flexible. Good if you have a list of activities (get ideas from here: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfrauregion/activities) you would like to do and see but do not over plan it.
Regarding the rail passes, as you are planning also to travel on the Bernina Express, I recommend a Swiss Travel Pass. You can check the validity here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/validity.

Just bear in mind November is not a good time to visit central Europe. ‘proper winter’ hasn’t started but summer is gone, so many things are in a state of ‘drab in between seasons’

I think you can still have a great Swiss holiday in November, just stay flexible and in case of bad weather – change your itinerary accordingly. 🙂
Note, that some of the mountain transport won’t operate, so make sure to check the timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/timetable) before your trip. Don’t worry, there will be still enough working ones, so you can enjoy the Jungfrau region. 🙂
