Mobility car sharing in Switzerland worth it?
A traveler is heading to Switzerland for 8 nights, splitting their stay between Lauterbrunnen and Luzern. They've purchased the Swiss Travel Pass for their family and are looking for insights on the Mobility car-sharing service, especially regarding its ease of access and whether it's worth it. They seek advice from the forum before their trip.
- The Swiss Travel Pass allows you to easily hop on and off public transport, so you likely won’t need a car.
- The Mobility car-sharing service is primarily for Swiss residents, so tourists may find regular car rental companies to be more accessible.
- Cars in the Mobility network are available at many locations and are designed to be user-friendly.

Hi! We are traveling to Switzerland in a few days and will be spliting our 8 nights between Lauterbrunnen and Luzern– we have purchased the Swiss Travel Pass for each of our 4 family members. We were also considering subscribing to Mobility in order to have access to a car if needed- does anyone have insight into this service? Is it worth it? Are the cars easy to access? Easy to find? Thank you!
