Hello friends,

Family of 5, one minor, two elderly, please offer best choices for below rail. Plan now is half fare card with family pass , glacier express (ZERMATT to St Moritz/Samedan), and Bernina express (St Moritz into Menaggio train + bus combo then local taxi to Griante ).

any feedback on better plan or promo code / discount code for the rail buys ? Thanks!!!

7-31 Paris to Chamonix

8-3 Chamonix to Zermatt

8-6 Zermatt to samedan glacier express

8-9 samedan to Griante

8-12 Griante to Milan

I can only advise on the Swiss part of your journey. As you would like to travel by the Glacier Express and the Bernina Express, I recommend the Swiss Travel Pass instead of the Swiss Half Fare Card for the adults. I think you would save more with that pass. You can compare the 2 options, use our spreadsheet, which will help you to do the math.
