We are due to visit and stay in Zermatt December 13th-15th. We are a family of 8; myself, husband, brother, his wife, my parents (who are fit & able bodied) & 2 children age 5 and 12. We don’t ski but we would love to experience the snow (fingers crossed) and some fun snow activities. I’m keen to find out what areas would be recommended for Tobaggans or snow tubing or anything similar/fun in or around Zermatt.  TIA

    Hi Hayl,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

Zermatt definitely has a lot to offer in winter even if you don’t ski. If you like hiking, there are numerous groomed trails from easy to moderate. If you like thrills, try out the toboggan run at Rotenboden. To get there, take the cogwheel train to Gornergrat (https://www.myswissalps.com/activity/gornergrat/) and get off just before the top most station. You can find further options on our Zermatt travel guide: https://www.myswissalps.com/town/zermatt/

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Anna
