Non-ski activities in Zermatt in December
A family of 8, led by a traveler named Hayl, is visiting Zermatt from December 13th to 15th. They don't ski but are looking for fun snow activities like tobogganing or snow tubing. Anna provides helpful suggestions for winter activities in Zermatt, including groomed hiking trails and specific toboggan locations.
- Check out the toboggan run at Rotenboden, accessible via the cogwheel train from Gornergrat.
- Explore various groomed hiking trails in Zermatt for easy to moderate experiences.
- Look for links to local travel guides for more winter activity options.

We are due to visit and stay in Zermatt December 13th-15th. We are a family of 8; myself, husband, brother, his wife, my parents (who are fit & able bodied) & 2 children age 5 and 12. We don’t ski but we would love to experience the snow (fingers crossed) and some fun snow activities. I’m keen to find out what areas would be recommended for Tobaggans or snow tubing or anything similar/fun in or around Zermatt. TIA
