Hi.

I would like to travel from Interlaken to Zurich on the 13th Sept 2019. Is there any panoramic train from Interlaken to Zurich?

Hello Jim,

The route Zurich to Interlaken itself is quite scenic, and yes, there are so-called scenic trains. If you travel from Zurich via Lucerne you can take parts of the Golden Pass route from Lucerne to Interlaken. Please find helpful information about the Golden Pass in below link and use the timetable provided to figure out detailed traveling times and connections (search via Lucerne).

Hi Steph,

As per below link, it is mentioned that the Golden Pass route is from Lucerne to Interlaken Ost (Section 1). Is there a Golden Pass route from Interlaken Ost to Lucerne (vise versa)?

Hello Jim Azim,

Yes of course, the Golden Pass ROUTE can be taken in both directions.

And YES, the train that you attached from Interlaken Ost to Lucerne IS via Golden Pass Route!!!
You can crosscheck this by searching the connection in the timetable provided above and looking at the train (IC 2931) there.
