As for other scenic trains:
- when traveling from Lugano to Mürren, you could use the scenic Centovalli route (http://www.myswissalps.com/ce ntovalli) towards Domodossola and Brig, then hop on the Lötschberger RegioExpress via Goppenstein and Kandersteg to Spiez. This would be a long, but definitely scenic journey;
- when traveling from Mürren to Zurich, you could travel via Lucerne, covering the northern part of the Golden Pass line (http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass)
- if some of the other panoramic train routes are important to you, you could do bits and parts of them as day trips from Lucerne.
