Normally, a good time to be in the high Alps, but very crowded. Crowds are unlikely this year.
That might work out well…if Switzerland is open for your visit.

I have two more question. From Zurich we want to go for a day to Mt. Pilatus and Lucerne, after that head to Interlaken in the evening. As I understood from some posts Mt Pilatus is not included in the Swiss Pass, and others say it is. Just want to double check If the ride up the mountain in not included or the train/bus?
Second, to go to Interlaken in the evening we can just board any train from Lucerne, we don’t need reservations or anything right ?

Re – Pilatus
Unless you are a resident of Switzerland, you are unlikely to have a Swiss Pass, which is a specific pass for Swiss residents, and is different from the Swiss Travel Pass (STP). I assume that you mean the STP.

I belive that in some past years, it covered the whole cost of trip, but not theses days.
Train to Interlaken:

Correct. Very few trains in Switzerland require reservations and, in many cases for trains that are not international, you cannot make a reservation.
Reservations are required on some of the named panoramic trains, such as the Glacier Express. You will not need them n the Luzer to Interrlaken train, even though it is called an “Express” and is one of the segments that make up the “Golden Pass” route.
You can use the SBB timetable to find out about reservation requirements. There a a bunch of codes/symbols with the listing for each journey that tell you that item and many other things.

Those trains leave Luzern once per hour at xx06, and do not stop at Alpnachstad. They take 1 hr 49 minutes to reach Interlaken Ost.
There is a capital “R” by the listing in the timetable, and the footnote says that means “Reservation possible.”
You won’t need one.
It has some minor value to reserve if you are planning to take the whole Golden Pass route and want to pick the exact seats that you want.
If you do choose to come down to Alpnachstad, check the schedules to get to Sarnen or Sachseln, where you can catch the train to Interlaken. If that woks out, you would not have to return to Luzern…unless you leave your luggage at the main station there.
