Swiss Travel Pass and 8 day itinerary in October
-
Hello Folks,
I am planning for Switzerland tour in coming October, i have some confusion regarding my itinerary so i am going to share my itinerary, please have a look and give me suggestion on planned itinerary and answer for my confusion.
Day 1- Landing In Geneva and local see sighting for a day.
Day-2-off to montreux and catch Goldan Gate pass till spiez, speiz to bern and then back to interlken.
Day-3-Grindelwald first + Mount. Schiltorn
Day-4- Harder Kulum & Mount. Jungfrau
Day-5- Arrival at Luzern, local see sighting + trip to pilatus and engelberg.
Day-6-Arrival At Zurich, local see sighting
Day-7-Arrival at Zermatt, catching glacier express till Chur
Day-8-Chur to Tirano then off to italy.
I’ll buy 8 days swiss pass but my confusion here are :
1. i want to ask if there will be any snow on glacier express and bernia express route, considering the last trip i.e 13 october 2019 in glacier express and 14 october 2019 in bernia?
2. I am not found of traveling in trains except there will be good snowy view. (let me now if its worth taking both or one of them, need suggestion here)
3.if its not worth taking both the train then should i buy 4 days swiss pass and start my swiss pass from day 2 (as i can travel free within geneva with geneva pass for local see sighting) and buy a day pass for zurich which cost about 9 chf or i can get around the city by free bi-cycle or by walking and then off to milan.
Please let me know if there is anything need to add or subtract in my planned itinerary and suggestions about glacier & bernia express.
Thanks & Regards
Manmeet Singh
