Hi YanaNedyalko,
Welcome to MySwissAlps! I’m afraid that Kim’s document is truly unique and we don’t have similar ones for other villages. Please check http://www.myswissalps.com/la uterbrunnen and http://www.myswissalps.com/wh eretogo/towns for other towns. Also you’re welcome to post questions. Please open a new thread for that. Thanks!

You won’t have any trouble quickly finding answers to your questions once you arrive. Lauterbrunnen is about three blocks long! There is no public laundromat. There are a couple of cafes/bars with internet hotspots, they advertise such in their windows. There is a small Coop supermarket by the train station open 7 days a week from 8:00 – 19:00 http://www.coop.ch/de/standorte/coop-supermarkt-lauterbrunnen/4014_POS
Where are you staying? Some of the lodging includes wifi

You’re BO/Wengen hiking tips document is EXTENSIVE and full of valuable tips for making the most of visitors’ time while there. THANK YOU for the thought and time you devoted to producing it. I imagine you have many fond memories of your hiking trips with your husband. 🙂
We’re looking forward to spending September in Switzerland and hiking in the Alps. We had some ideas but you’ve helped solidify our time.

Reply 140 of 147 • 3 August 2023 at 15:02:06 #840561Thanks for your kind words, Maria! I’m happy you are finding the document helpful. A long term labor of love for the region.
September is a great pick. In our 28 trips we have found September to be ideal. Most of the summer crowds have gone home and the weather, while always unpredictable, is usually the best of the year. Beautiful temperatures often punctuated with “Happy Hour Thunderstorms”. That’s what we call the frequent late afternoon dramatic and brief showers. They usually roll in around 5pm or so. Perfect for sitting on your deck or veranda with a cocktail in hand and watching the show.
