Hello all, 1st trip to Switzerland and we will be staying a few days in Lauterbrunnen and then will need to get to Milan. Looking at the train but I’m concerned about the connections. There is only 6 minutes listed for the change in Interlaken. Is that enough time. Packing light because I want to be able to get on/off trains easily. TIA

    Hi Chele,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

A transfer time of less than 10 mins is common for rail travel in Switzerland. I think 6 minutes is sufficient to change trains in Interlaken Ost. If you are travelling with heavy luggage, make sure you are at the door to exit immediately when the train stops at Interlaken and take the ramp to the correct platform for your next connection.
